It is a perfect starting point for exploring Roman excavations in the town vicinity, and for enjoying seaside activities on the nearby beach some 30 metres from the Hotel.

During the construction of the new addition to the Cittar Hotel, a valuable archaeological site was discovered with historically important finds dating back to the second half of the 7th century: 2 bronze belt buckles, a bronze earring, bone combs, a knife blade and fragments of ceramic vessels. The Hotel shall provide more information on these items and their replicas.
